Parsons Peebles recently attended the first in a new series of supplier networking events designed to bring the supply chain and Thames Water closer together. The ‘Mini Tent Event’ took place at Maple Lodge in Rickmansworth, situated approximately 20 miles northwest of central London.
Our partners Riventa were also present for the networking day which hosted 10 key suppliers who were given the opportunity to present information on their solutions to over 100 Thames Water employees, most of whom are involved in waste water treatment.
The UK’s water industry is a huge focus for the Parsons Peebles business with a long history of offering rapid response electromechanical services through legacy brands Anstee & Ware and Taylor & Goodman. Through their transition into the Parsons Peebles brand, the businesses have set a high priority on brand awareness and promoting our capabilities across the entire Group.
Thames Water has been a key customer of this business for many years and we welcomed the opportunity to attend this event and expand our network further across Thames Water.
Thames Water Key Account Manager, Lee Shergold, said, “The day was a great success. We met a lot of influential people there and as a result, we have now secured several meetings with key personnel in Thames Water.
This ‘mini tent event’ was the first that Parsons Peebles has attended for Thames Water, we found it a really worthwhile exercise. The chance to reacquaint with familiar faces and meet new contacts was of huge value going forward.”
