Parsons Peebles Pleased to Announce Changes to the Executive Leadership Team

Parsons Peebles Group (PPG) is pleased to announce a number of changes to the executive leadership team. These changes will help enable the groups objective to consolidate its role as a leading player in the UK industrial services market and develop further organic and acquisition led growth strategies that enhance our competitive position as a leader in electrical and water processing plant manufacture, service and support, in the UK and internationally.

Gareth Roberts has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Gareth has over 30 years’ experience in leadership positions in the engineering industry, notably in oil and gas, and brings an extensive international business perspective having lived and worked in Oman, Trinidad, USA, Norway, Brazil and Russia. Recently he held successful CEO and VP roles in large, private equity backed engineering groups.

Ashleigh Greenan is promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer, reporting to Gareth. Her experience as Group Financial Controller over the last four years is excellent preparation for this new role where she will have complete responsibility for all finance related matters from July 1st. Ashleigh is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has held previous roles in TSB, KPMG and Exova.

Nairn Black, current Chief Financial Officer, has chosen to leave PPG to pursue other opportunities and will step down from the end of June. We thank Nairn for his contribution to the growth and development of the business over the last 3 years and wish him well for the future.

Parson Peebles Group Chairman Thomas Burley said “I’m very pleased to be able to appoint a new CEO in Gareth who has both a strong industry background and extensive private equity experience. He believes in putting our excellent front line managers at the heart of the business and giving them the power, and support, to deliver to our customer what they need, when they need it. Together with the promotion of Ashleigh to CFO I believe we have achieved the blend of change and continuity required by PPG at this time.”
