Parsons Peebles has again achieved AEMT (The Association of Electrical & Mechanical Trades) membership status aligning the organisation with international IEC and ISO standards.
AEMT is the international trade association that promotes and supports companies in the service and repair industry who aspire for engineering excellence.
As an AEMT member, Parsons Peebles will benefit from increased international reach by being featured on the multiple AEMT marketing channels and distributor pages, 24/7 access to technical, business and legal support helplines, a direct influence on the writing of IEC International standards and access to industry leading training, support and networking opportunities which will elevate the organisation’s mark of quality distinguishing them from their non-AEMT competitors.
Parsons Peebles group continues to focus on brand awareness following the rebrand of the business in late 2016. The AEMT membership opens many opportunities that will enhance exposure of the brand and provide a platform for acquiring and developing relationships in the industry.
– Networking with an international and nationwide network of service centres
– Meetings, events and conferences open the opportunity to promote products
– Promote premises by hosting an AEMT meeting
– Listing AEMT yearbook and website directory
– Feature multiple times on the AEMT website
The upcoming open day at the Preformed Windings facility is an example of the opportunities presented to us by our membership with AEMT. With around 30 attendees from businesses across the UK, the event will provide an opportunity for Preformed Windings to promote the capabilities within the facility. In addition, Len Jones, Chief Engineer at Parsons Peebles, will present at the meeting and networking event at Aston Hall on the same day.
Gillian Aird, Group Director of Marketing & Communications, said: “Following the acquisitions of Preformed Windings, Anstee & Ware and Taylor & Goodman over the last 4 years, brand exposure and maximising awareness of our portfolio of solutions has been a high priority for the business.
The AEMT membership continues to provide a platform for us to, not only enhance visibility of our brand, but also to create an opportunity to network with key professionals in the electrical and mechanical industries. The upcoming Open Day at our Preformed Windings facility in Sheffield on 21st March is a prime example of this.”
