A recent Fishing Match Day hosted by Parsons Peebles welcomed a number of guests from key businesses in the Anglian area and proved to be a great success for all attending.
The event, organised by Parsons Peebles Regional Sales Manager, Keith Nicholls, was the first of its kind for the company and offered an excellent, informal networking opportunity for the businesses involved.
Boasting 8 lakes holding a range of fish from carp and bream to golden tench and perch, Barford Lakes on the outskirts of Norwich was the perfect venue for the day. The feedback from the attendees was more than positive and support from valued suppliers of Parsons Peebles allowed for a range of prizes for those competing in the event.
The Winner was Collin Picton of Anglian Water with a weight of 55lb 11oz. The runner-up was Darren Smith of Smiths Electrical with a weight of 49lb 09oz and third was Gary Wakely of Anglian Water (pictured) with a weight of 48lb.
“This was a very successful event for Parsons Peebles and we were lucky to welcome such a great group of keen fishermen at the occasion. This event not only allows us to provide better awareness of the newly formed Parsons Peebles business following the rebrand of legacy companies, Anstee & Ware and Taylor & Goodman, but also allows us to create enhanced relationships with key industry players,” said Keith Nicholls, Regional Sales Manager.
